Design
In each decoration, you can feel the whole design. In another words, inner most concludes the universe. Atman is Brahman. The Japanese spirit reincarnates to exceed time and space.
Tatami mat, Wooden floor, Shikkui plaster wall, interior furnitures are all made of natural ingredients, which helps you to feel like you are in the mother nature. Real Japanese House is alive, inhaling and exhailing, controlling moisture content, and good for ventilation, even avoiding dust blown away into air. Made of paper and wood? It is not joke but real health!
Designed by Kenji Oshima / OCM
Built in December, 2005

Paper sliding screen.
Fragile fine timber on Japanese paper represents clouds over Mt.Fuji. Each clock of sunshine gives us different color of life.
Paper screen also reminds us that light and shadow turn into one. If you see and image of Sakura (Cherry Blossom) petals falling down in the right picture, you are the professional Japanese artist (^^)..
